Storage devices

A device that is use to store something for the future use.

so is it storage device???

Human Brain as Storage devices:-

when there is no storage device then human brain is use for store data. After this the human start the writing to remember and after it the other diffrent devices are invent.

There are two types of memory.

1. Short term memory
2. Long term memory

Short term memory:- Short term memory are also known as primary memory. It store data for the small period of time.

RAM:- (ramm)

             RAM stand for Random Access Memory. This is use to store the data in computer for short time of period. The data remain in it untill the computer is on. When the light if off it loss the data which it have. There are two types of RAMs.

• S RAM
• D RAM   

CACHE:-

It is the memory that is use to store the data which is mostly use by the processor. like some earthmatic or logical opratiors.

Long term memory:- Long term memory are also known as secondary memory. it store the data for the long period of time.

•  Magnetic Tape:-

A plastic tape that is coated with ioran oxide use for magnatic recording.

• Hard Drive:-

   Hard drive is the most comonly use in computer for store the data. It is non volatail memory, when the switch is unplough the data remain on it.

• CD ; DVD:-

CD stand for compact disk. It is light weight disk type memory.

DVD stand for Digital vedio disk. It is same like CD but have better qulity of voice and picture as compare to CD.

• Flash Drive:-

It is a portable memory that is use to store data. It is light weight device that make easier to travel the data. Also called keychain memory.

• Memory Card

 Memory card is small card that is use to store data. It is very small in size and none volatile memory.

CONCLUSIN

As the passege of time the storage devices are going very small in size and there capacity of storing the data is incressing.
